Dr. Andrea Braun
Dr. Braun is a 1982 graduate of New York University, College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she served in the United States Naval Reserves as a Dental Officer and from there went onto private practice in Menlo Park, CA. After 25 years of success she decided to spend the next chapter in her career in Hawaii, a place she has always been called back to .
Early in her career, she embraced technology and brought this passion and philosophy of care to her patients through the use of intra-oral cameras, lasers, digital radiography and cad/cam cerec capabilities. Being a devoted student of dental adhesion and minimally invasive dentistry, her ability of combining technology with a personal touch has become a standard of care to be emulated.
As a true believer that knowledge is power, Dr. Braun founded “Ask Dr. Smiles” www.drsmiles.info online publication for the sole purpose of awakening the public’s awareness and enriching their knowledge of all that modern dentistry has to offer. Dr. Braun is a member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Organization for Oral and Systemic Health, the American Dental Association and the California and Hawaii Dental Associations. She also works as an executive coach with Fortune Management where she supports and encourages fellow dentists to fall in love with the business of dentistry.
Dr. Braun and her husband Oscar, live in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her personal interests are centered around the outdoors, ocean sports and hiking. When out of the office, Dr. Braun participates in masters swimming, marveling at the natural beauty of hawaii and spending time with her family.
